Then the Central German Institute for Qualification and Vocational Rehabilitation offers you extensive language and integration courses so that nothing stands in the way of your professional future. Below you will find an overview of the courses offered.
German and integration courses
Integration courses/German courses (BAMF)
- Duration:approx. 8 months - 600 hours language course, 100 hours orientation course
- Start: continuous entry by arrangement
- Via certificate of eligibility for integration courses (BAMF funding)
- Requirements:
- Asylum seekers with a residence permit in accordance with Section 55 (1) Asylum Act
- Foreigners with a toleration according to § 60a Abs. 2 Satz 3 AufenthG
- Foreigners with a residence permit in accordance with Section 25, Paragraph 5 of the Residence Act
- Emigrants
- Contents:
- Language/German course
- Orientation course/excursions
- Start: continuous entry by arrangement
- Duration: about 1 month
- Requirements:
- Eligible migrants according to § 4 Abs.1 IntV
- Missing or insufficient written language skills
- Contents:
- Literacy in Latin script
- Imparting basic knowledge of German
- learning strategies
- Promotion of intercultural competence
- Promotion of media literacy
Professional language courses (BAMF)
- language level: A2-C2
- Form of teaching: On-site classes at the MIQR in Erfurt, Chemnitz and Leipzig or regional online courses
- Duration and procedure:
- 400|500 teaching units (UE)
- Active participation on site in Erfurt, Chemnitz, Leipzig or online
- Final exam in the areas of speaking, writing, reading and listening
- Conclusion: Recognized language certificate
- Contents:
- Learning strategies, dealing with technical language & lifelong learningDealing with digital media at work
- job search and application
- Rules and norms of the working world
- Communication with external contacts in everyday work
- Vocational training, further education and training
- Change and termination of employment
- Companies in Germany (legal forms, corporate culture etc.)
- Intercultural communication
German immediately – advanced course (SAB)
- Duration: 3 months, 200 teaching units
- Start: continuous entry by arrangement
- Requirements:
- Asylum seekers with a residence permit in accordance with Section 55 (1) Asylum Act
- Persons with a migration background who, according to Section 43 of the Residence Act are not allowed to attend a German integration course
- unless there is a case under Section 60a (6) sentence 1 nos. 1 and 2 of the Residence Act
- if you are an asylum seeker or your asylum application was unsuccessful, a district or an independent district
City in the Free State of Saxony and you are not a citizen of a safe
country of origin according to § 29a of the Asylum Act, unless they are holders of a toleration according to §
60a paragraph 2 sentence 3 or paragraph 2b of the Residence Act.

- Language/German course
German qualified – completion of the German test for immigrants (SAB)
- Duration: 400 teaching units, approx. 6 months
- Start: continuous entry after consultation with your advisor
- Requirements:
- Asylum seekers with a residence permit in accordance with Section 55 (1) Asylum Act
- Persons with a migration background who, according to Section 43 of the Residence Act are not allowed to attend a German integration course
- unless there is a case under Section 60a (6) sentence 1 nos. 1 and 2 of the Residence Act
- if you are an asylum seeker or your asylum application was unsuccessful, a district or an independent district

Vocational integration courses
Migrants in Labor and Potential Analysis (MAPO)
- Duration: max. 15 weeks part-time or 10,5 weeks full-time
- Start: continuous entry by arrangement
- Requirements: Those seeking work or professional help with a migration background or migrants with a residence permit/permission who
- are looking for professional help or a job
- have special barriers to mediation
- want individual support, professional qualifications and integration
- Contents:
- Registration of job-related knowledge and skills
- Imparting basic key qualifications
- Imparting professional knowledge, including German in the professional context, operational/public administration, housekeeping and much more
- field testing
Migrants in Integration and Career Optimization (MIBO)
- Duration: 8 months or until integration, theory: Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 15 p.m
- Start: continuous entry by arrangement
- Requirements: Those seeking work or professional help with a migration background or migrants with a residence permit/permission who
- want a professional qualification/training
- a professional assessment of their skills and
- desire competencies
- need support for their occupational integration due to qualification
- Contents:

Migrants in Integration, Training and Orientation (MISO)
- Duration: 52 weeks or until integration
- Start: continuous entry after consultation with your advisor
- via activation and mediation voucher AVGS (AA/JC)
- Requirements:
- Recognized asylum seekers, beneficiaries with a migration background
- Migrants with a residence permit who would like support/accompaniment for their professional integration, who would like to try out different professional fields or be integrated into a learned profession or a new field of activity
- Contents:
- job-related profiling and individual action planning
- individual application coaching/job coaching
- imparting knowledge
- Internships
