In order to be able to take part in this retraining, you should be able to demonstrate at least a secondary school diploma, completed vocational training or several years of professional experience. It is also an advantage if you enjoy and are interested in dealing with customers and also enjoy varied activities. For advising customers, you should have good expressive skills and master the spelling and grammar of the German language. You should also be interested in working in a competent team and have the will to discover your own strengths and skills and build on them.

Procedure and content of the retraining

The training content corresponds to the nationwide training framework plan of the Vocational Training Act and also includes future-oriented multiple degrees. You will receive core qualifications in the fields of office and business processes and deepening of job-related knowledge.

Beginning and duration of the retraining

The MIQR offers you regular appointments for retraining. The retraining usually begins in February and July of each year. Optionally, you can participate in a 3-month retraining preparation participate before the start of the activity. This usually starts in April and November. The theoretical lessons take place at the MIQR locations from 08:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m. The two-year retraining includes 14 months of specialist training and a dual internship with the employer.
