Admission requirements for the Real Estate Management module

You have a good chance of being admitted to the Real Estate Management module if you:

• have at least a high school diploma,
• have completed vocational training or
• have several years of professional experience.

At the beginning we will conduct personal information and selection interviews in order to assess your suitability in advance. In addition, you have to take part in a vocational and specialist pedagogical entrance exam to assess your prior knowledge. Based on the results, we then decide whether you can take another module in addition to the Real Estate Management module.

The general process of our commercial modular qualification

Important: Depending on which of our locations in Saxony, Thuringia or Berlin you visit, the KMQ works a little differently.

 Thuringia and Saxony: lasts a total of 9 months

At our locations in Thuringia and Saxony, you will first take a job test and job-related orientation. The KMQ consists of three levels: First you learn the basics of business (Section A) and then you can take one or two courses of your choice, in which you get to know specific professional fields. You can choose from a total of ten different specialist modules (sections B and C). The number of hours of instruction required for this phase will vary depending on your previous knowledge and skills. At the end there is the orientation phase (Section D). Here you will take part in an internship lasting several weeks and can acquire valuable, industry-specific application knowledge.

Berlin: lasts a total of 12 months

At our location in Berlin you will be extensively tested before we plan the modular qualification with you. This includes training in the basics of business, including MS Office applications (Section A) and the opportunity to continue your education in one or two specific business areas (Sections B and C). Depending on your previous knowledge and skills, the number of hours of instruction required to successfully complete this phase will vary. Finally, there is the orientation phase (Section D), which takes the form of an extensive internship. Here you can acquire professional skills that will be of use to you later in the application process.
