Measure objective: Introduction to the training and labor market as well as individual support in order to recognize, reduce or overcome possible obstacles in the placement

- Jobseekers and traineeship seekers from all professional fields (without rehabilitation status)
- Unemployed or threatened by unemployment
- Persons with special placement barriers
- People with physical, psychological or social development problems, e.g. B. anxiety disorders, depression or behavioral problems

- nationwide at all MIQR locations

Goals of the application training
The aim of our application training is to determine and strengthen your individual skills and competencies. To do this:
- Your application documents are checked to ensure that they are up-to-date and complete
- Your personal and professional data collected
- Create your applicant profile
They should be enabled to apply independently on the general training and job market. For this reason, we carry out a detailed basic assessment before the start of the measure, in which we record your individual needs and requirements. And as part of the application training, we will then provide you with basic knowledge about the creation and formatting of application documents as well as behavior in the job interview. Our focus is particularly on:
Target group of the application training
Our application training is aimed at people who need support in the application process and would like to improve their chances on the job market through intensive coaching. Our coaching is particularly suitable for:
- job seekers from all professional areas
- Apprenticeship seekers
- unemployed or persons at risk of unemployment
Start and duration of the application training
We make one possible for you flexible start of measures. In cooperation with your advisor at the employment agency or the job center, we coordinate the course of the measure and inform you about the lesson times.
The application training takes place in Part-time takes place and extends over five days. On each of these days, four teaching units will be held directly with us site completed.
Procedure for application training at the MIQR
Our application training is divided into: four focal points, which build on each other:
- Analysis of your individual situation: What professional interests and skills do you have? Which job prospects match your requirements?
- Help with creating, formatting and designing your application documents
- Coaching in preparation for your job interviews

They also have access to our socio-pedagogical and work-psychological help, where we also support them outside of class times.
Please note that our occupational psychological support is aimed exclusively at the implementation of the measures and does not include any therapy or psychological or medical examinations.

Section A: Situation Analysis (4 units)
- Questioning about school and professional career, personal life situation, as well as interests and career plans
- Recording of job-related key qualifications, professional qualifications, personal strengths and skills
- Creation of an individual action plan and career orientation
- Creation of an applicant profile taking into account your job interests
- Analysis of previous applications
- Search for suitable vacancies, taking into account your personal requirements
Section B: Preparation of application documents (8 units)
- Strategies and tips for a professional, written application
- Structuring and design of application documents
- Introduction to Microsoft Word for creating application documents
- Clear representation of the professional data in the CV
- Formulate your own strengths, motivation and relevant (professional) experience in the cover letter
- Motivation letter guide
- Development of a formatted template for later cover letters
Section C: Coaching job interview (4 units)
- Behavior in the interview (procedure, code of conduct, typical questions)
- Advice on appearance and the right outfit
- Strategies for optimal self-marketing
- Use of facial expressions, gestures and body language
- Practice interviews
- Evaluation and reflection of the job interviews
Section D: Labor market analysis and job research (4 units)
- Help with the structured job search
- Use of various job portals and business networks (e.g. employment agency, Xing, LinkedIn)

Costs & funding for our participants
The financing of our application training is via a so-called Activation and placement vouchers (AVGS) possible. You can get this from your Employment Agency or by your Job centre apply for.
