This support measure serves to acquire a recognized vocational qualification through a corresponding chamber examination, in order to subsequently enable permanent professional integration. The Central German Institute offers you comprehensive, continuous support, regular coordination meetings and job market-oriented, targeted training. You will receive individual support/accompaniment throughout the entire measure.

Funding for retraining support is provided by the Employment Agency or Job centre. Support can be claimed for retraining sections or for the entire retraining period.

Due to the special learning conditions and the learning process support, the training is mainly carried out in individual coaching or in small groups. The weekly number of hours depends on the needs of the participants and is therefore determined individually.

Content: The retraining assistance (ubH) is a support for company retrainees. The aim of the ubH is to accompany the participants on their way to a successful conclusion. Knowledge deficits are balanced and advisory or accompanying support is given for personal problems or difficulties in the social and business environment. Funding for retraining assistance is provided by the employment agency or the job center. The support can be used for retraining sections or for the entire retraining period.

Goals & target group

The retraining assistance (ubH) is a support program for company retrainees. The measure is particularly designed for job seekers or those seeking professional help who are aiming for a new professional qualification. The measures are also aimed at those who would like to complete dual training (in a company and at a vocational school) and would like job-related specialist help and optional work psychological and socio-educational support. Another target group are people who generally need help and support for their subsequent career entry.

Knowledge deficits are compensated for during the retraining support. The aim of the ubH is to support the participants on their way to a successful conclusion. In addition to working through school deficits, retraining-related assistance includes socio-educational and psychological support for personal problems, difficulties in the social environment and conflicts.

Learning content & duration of the ubH at a glance

In our support lessons we convey and coordinate additional school knowledge that is not covered by the shortened training period. It is also important to consolidate the current teaching material of the vocational school with you and to follow it up. In this support program, school deficits are worked up and additional basic knowledge is imparted. Furthermore, practical and theoretical questions are linked in parallel. In addition, the coordination and advice with the chamber, vocational school and the company in which you are completing retraining is part of the measure. We also support you with any questions about formalities. With regard to the exam preparation If possible, we carry out in-depth repetitions of the exam-relevant learning content you have learned so far and prepare you specifically and intensively for the complex of questions of the written and oral exams or coordinate this with the vocational school teachers. After your exams support we you at the starting work, in the form of advice on being taken on by the training company or looking for a job.

The ubH takes place every six months and usually begins in August/September and February/March and lasts for two years. The retraining takes place in recognized training companies. While you are attending the responsible vocational school, you will receive continuous support and support lessons from us. Your integration will be secured in the aftercare period of six months.
